Eco-friendly wedding dresses and party gowns
Our environmentally gentle dresses are designed from beginning to end to beautify our earth as well as our brides. Unlike many high street shops, we pay close attention to our sourcing; we know exactly from whom and from where our materials arise.
We use only eco-supportive hemp, beautiful hemp/silk blends and organic cotton fabrics in our dressmaking. You can select from many gorgeous designs in several colours and contrasts. We'll create a truly stunning ethical wedding gown that's made just for you. Each of our gowns is cut and sewn to order and the company employs only local UK seamstresses who work from their own studios, all who earn a fair living wage.
You'll enjoy private online access to our workshop logs, which you can visit at any time to monitor your gown's progress. There's no worry or guessing about how your dress is coming along; you can watch it being made through pictures and log entries. It's important to us that you are delighted with your dress and are included along every step of the way.

Our eco-friendly fabrics are sourced as locally as possible from only sustainable materials and most of our fabrics are 3rd-party certified organic by Control Union World Group (formerly SKAL). No child labour or sweatshops are involved in any facet of our dressmaking. Our biodegradeable and recycled packaging is purposefully chosen to have minimal impact on the environment and we ship our gowns through eco-friendly couriers.

UPDATE Summer 2008:
ORGANIC COTTON THREAD HAS ARRIVED
We now use unbleached certified organic cotton thread for the lighter colours and vegetable-dyed black organic cotton thread for the darker ones. Now we can make 100% organic gowns!
Re-use and recycle a precious resource
We don't believe that anything should be useful for only one day. We make sure that you'll get the most from your gown. As an exclusive service, we can create an eco-friendly Christening/Naming Ceremony garment and related accessories for your future little ones, made from your own wedding dress. This service is free of charge for our clients, or infant gowns can be purchased separately. Please contact us for details.
